A conversion kit allows a furnace to switch energy sources from an expensive source to a different one, maybe from heating oil to propane that needs to be delivered or vice versa. Kits that convert your furnace from one source to another do not exist for all furnace system types. They are only available for certain types that are designed to be able to handle a switch. If a conversion kit is made for your model system you should consider having it installed by someone who has lots of experience, for the safety of everyone.
