The fan motor has the main duty of keeping the compressor cool, this is needed because of the heat that needs to be dissipated. The AC compressor cooling fan motor on its own without the blade, this results in an easier installation and a little less costly, as well. Just make sure the replacement motor has the proper voltage and the correct amp listing as it is on the current motor.
How can I tell if my condenser fan motor has to be replaced?
