Your heating system cannot possible make the warmed air to heat the home properly if your heating element is somehow defective. The main heat element causes the air to be heated up prior to the blower having it distributed throughout the house.

- Element seems to look bad, damaged and about to fall apart
- Furnace element will not get warm or get hot enough because it is probably worn out
