Carrier 58DLX04510008 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch has a sensor located in the furnace that can determine if and when the air is warmed to a point to activate the main blower. The reason limit switches exist is because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Important hints limit switch will have to be replaced
- Your system is beginning to erratically repeatedly
- The heating and cooling system will not even start or run for any length of time
