Carrier 58DR Control Board
The Carrier 58DR control board is made to operate everything including the gas valve, the igniter, the flame sensor and the blower all together. It is impossible for your furnace or air handler to even function unless this important circuit board is in place and connected. A matching board will need to be a match with your existing board and be compatible with both the brand and model of the unit you have installed. It is imperative that you select wisely when you choose a replacement due to the many differences between certain brands.
Major clues of a dying control board
- AC or heating system cannot start at all
- The control board has to be reset a lot for everything to run again
