Carrier 58MCB120 Cooling Fan Blade
The blade attached to the fan motor on the AC condenser has a main function of scattering the massive amounts of heat that is released. Although the vast majority of blades are built well, they can get bent over the summer for reasons too many to mention.
What happens when my main cooling blade really needs to be replaced?
- The whole blade out of sorts as it gets turned and trying to cool the compressor
- Fine edges of the fins are chipped or ravaged due to being outdoors
- Some of the blade appears potted and damaged due to spending a long time outside
