Carrier 58MSA080 Limit Switch
Limit switches were created due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts. A normal limit switch has a sensor in the air handler that senses, or governs, when the heated air is warmed to a point that it can be circulated throughout the house.
