Carrier 58MTB080F10116 Limit Switch
A limit switch was crafted due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then the house will never get warm enough. A normal limit switch has a sensor in the heating area that decides when the air is warm enough for the air to begin normal home circulation.
What are some indications that my limit switch most likely needs replacing?
- The HVAC system will not begin or will not stay running longer than a minute
- The whole system begins to run erratically more often than not
