Carrier 58MVB080F10114 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch contains a sensor in the heating area that decides when the air is warmed to a point to activate the main blower. A limit switch was crafted due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
Major signs critical limit switch is dying
- The system starts to ramp up but then stops from time to time
- The HVAC system refuses to start or will not stay running longer that five minutes
