Carrier 58MXA080 Control Board
Your air handler will be unable to run at all lest this board is configured and seated properly. The control board is created to operate the gas valve, the ignition igniter, the flame sensor as well as the air circulator all at once. Be absolutely sure while selecting a replacement due to variances between heating and cooling systems. The board you select will need to pair with the part number from both the make and model of the unit in question.
Some warnings of a defective Carrier control board
- System has some sort of error code being displayed on the control board
- The unit declines to work period
- Power to the circuit board needs to be reset more often than not for the thermostat to kick in
