Carrier 58MXB060F10116 Limit Switch
The reason limit switches exist is because if the warmed air is too cool then the house will never get warm enough. A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch in the heating area that determines if and when the air is warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents.
General indicators that your limit switch is not going to last much longer
- The heating and AC system refuses to kick in or run well even though the desired temperature has not been attained
- The Carrier system starts to ramp up but then stops on more than one occasion
