Carrier 58STA11010012 Cooling Fan Motor
The compressor fan motor is responsible for cooling the compressor, due to the large amount of heat that needs to be dispersed in order to keep things cool. Just make certain the replacement motor has the same voltage and the precise amperage as it is on the current motor. The unit may be replaced without having to go through the hassle of getting a new blade as this makes replacing it a lot easier to do and cheaper for you.
Subtle hints the condenser fan motor is going to die
- An unpleasant screeching sound when the cooling fan is beginning to turn
- The cooling motor smells burnt makes a zapping sound when it is spinning
- The Carrier motor tries but fails to turn at all
