The Carrier 58STA135 control board is designed to control everything including the gas valve, the igniter, the flame sensor and the blower all together. You must do some research upon picking a replacement board due to the vast differences in brands, models and types of systems. The control board you choose should match the model number with both the brand and model of your particular system.
