Carrier 58STA135 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch contains a sensor in the heat exchanger that can determine if and when the air is actually warm enough for the air to begin normal home circulation. The main reason limit switches are made is because if the warmed air is too cool the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
Do you know if your chief limit switch has to be replaced?
- The whole system begins to go through the startup sequence but stops quickly repeatedly
- Your Carrier system will not even start or run for any significant length if time
