Carrier 58STX07010012 Flame Sensor
The flame sensor is only found on gas furnaces. It is a sensor that senses the proper flame when the system starts. For obvious reasons, if the sensor get triggered the gas valve is shut off and the system halts until obstacle is corrected.
Do you know if your flame sensor is dying?
- HVAC system kicks in sporadically only
- The gas supplying the furnace cannot ignite and closes the gas valve
