Carrier 58STX07010016 Cooling Fan Blade
The fan blade for the outdoor portion of a split system is jobbed with dispersing the large quantity of heat that is released. The blades are tough but they may break over the summer for whatever reason.
Simple indications of a defective blade
- The fan blade looks corroded and maybe dented from the elements outside
- It appears to severely wobble as it gets turned and trying to cool the compressor
- Edges of the blade are notched or somehow damaged due to being outdoors

Before buying or ordering any Carrier 58STX07010016 replacement part, do your due diligence and double check the model number as well as make a visual inspection so that you are positive that the correct replacement cooling fan blade is the one being purchased.
