Carrier 58TUA Heat Element
The main heat element allows fresh air to be heated prior to the blower having it spread out throughout the house. Your furnace is unable to generate any heat to efficiently heat, if your heating element does not work.
How do you know if your system heat element is about to stop working?
- The piece looks eroded, quite rusty and in rough shape
- Heat is not being created by your furnace at all
- Furnace element does not heat up or not warm enough to produce heat due to being worn out
