Carrier 58WAV Blower Wheel
A blower wheel usually has fins all around it and it is used to provide air circulation to an entire house. You may also see it named a squirrel cage due to the partial likeness of a hamster wheel. Whatever you want to call it, it is still a very necessary contraption that is required for proper air pressure within the ductwork.
Major signs poorly running blower wheel assembly
- If any one of the fins has been twisted and looks unbalanced when it spins
- Less airflow making its way through the vents
- A thumping noise is noticed when the system ramps up
