Carrier BK Heat Element
The heating element allows the air to be heated up before the blower has it dispersed through the ducts. Your heating system is unable to make any normal amount of heat to efficiently heat, if the heat element will not work right.
Simple indications of a failing heating element
- A shortage of heat being made by the main system whatsoever
- The heat element will not heat up or get to max heat temp due to being worn out
- The element looks eroded, damaged and looks like it should be replaced
