Carrier EK Cooling Fan Blade
The fan blade for the condenser has a main function of dispersing the enormous amounts of heat energy that is released by the compressor. Because fan blades are in motion a lot they can break down over time for many reasons.
Some warnings the Carrier fan blade will need to be replaced
- Fine edges of the fins are scarred or beat up in some way
- The blade vibrates excessively as it begins spinning and trying to cool the compressor
- The blade looks corroded and damaged from being out in the weather
