Carrier FF1DNA024011AAAA Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor on the compressor has the main duty of keeping the compressor cool, when heat is removed from the house, that heat that needs to be dispersed in order to keep things cool. Just make certain the new motor has the voltage that is the same and correct amp current as on the current fan motor. It can be replaced solely on its own, this will make it a lot easier to install and cheaper for you.
Cues of a declining fan motor
- The Carrier motor fails to spin at all
- The motor starts to smoke or throws sparks while it tries to spin
- You can hear a rubbing or scraping sound while the cooling fan is starting
