Carrier FF1DNE030000AAAA Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a switch located in the furnace that can determine when the air is warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. The main reason limit switches are made is because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
Major signs of a defective critical limit switch
- The Carrier system starts to runs uneven from time to time
- System will not start or continue to run even though max temp has not been reached
