Carrier FF1DNE030075AAAA Cooling Fan Motor
The compressor fan motor has a unique job of cooling the outdoor compressor, when heat is removed from the house, that heat energy has to be dispelled into the air. Just make sure you buy a replacement motor with the same voltage and amperage listed as on the current fan motor. It can be replaced sans the blade, this results in an easier installation and it is something you can do yourself.
Important clues of a poorly working Carrier fan motor
- An unpleasant crackling noise when the motor turns
- The motor smells burnt or throws sparks when in use
- The Carrier cooling motor cannot turn the blade
