Carrier FNCCAB Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a switch in the heat exchanger that makes the determination if and when the air is actually warm enough that it can be circulated throughout the house. The main reason limit switches are made is because if the air never warms up then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
Elements of a declining limit switch
- Your system is beginning to become inconsistent on more than one occasion
- The heating and cooling system refuses to start or will not stay running for any significant length if time
