Carrier FV4CNB006 Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor on the compressor is in charge of cooling the outdoor compressor, because as the compressor gets hot the heat energy has to be dispersed in order to keep things cool. The motor can be replaced with or without the blade, this makes replacing it a lot easier to do and will reduce the costs you need to pay. Be certain the replacement motor has the exact voltage and the same amps as on the current fan motor.
Hints your Carrier fan motor needs replacing ASAP
- An audible squeaking sound when the motor is just starting
- The main cooling motor catches fire or shorts out when in use
- The Carrier cooling motor cannot turn the blade
