The main blower motor is responsible for dispensing heated or cooled air through the vents in the house. The blower motor is an integral part of the HVAC system and carries out a very important part that delivers the circulation of air needed for heating or cooling a room or dwelling.
Symptoms the main blower motor is faulty and should be replaced
- The blowing of air sometimes starts and stops while running.
- The primary air circulating blower creates an awful thumping or grinding noise while starting up or while coming to a halt at the end of a run.
- The main blower does not generate enough volume or airflow through the ductwork of the house.
- When the start sequence is initiated the circuit breaks, stopping the HVAC system due to the fact that the blower motor shorted the system circuit.
