The main blower motor is part of the primary blower for supplying heated or cooled air throughout the house. A blower motor is a main element of any whole house HVAC system and carries out an important part in distributing the heated or cooled air.
Indications that your Carrier blower motor ready to die and probably should be replaced
- When the system is initiated the circuit breaks, stopping the HVAC system because the blower motor shorted the circuit out.
- Your blower produces a screeching or squeaking noise while the motor is starting or when the run is ending.
- Your blower is incapable of pushing even a tiny amount of air through the ducts.
- The blower starts sometimes and stops intermittently before the thermostat temp setting has been reached.
