Conversion kits are not available for all furnace system types. They are only available for specific ones that are designed to be able to handle a switch. A conversion kit would allow a conversion from an expensive source to a different one, perhaps from natural gas that gets pumped to your house to electric or some other type of energy depending on what you want. If you do buy one you may want to consider having it fitted by someone who has done it before, for the safety of everyone.
