Carrier KFCEH1801F20 Limit Switch
Limit switches were created due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool then the house will never get warm enough. A normal limit switch is a switch in the heat exchanger that senses, or governs, when the heated air is warmed to a point for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air.
Subtle cues of a worsening critical limit switch
- The HVAC system will not begin the ignition sequence nor will it stay running even though max temp has not been reached
- Your system is starting to runs uneven more than once
