Carrier KFCEH1901C20 Ignition Control Board
An ignition control board regulates gas intake, the ignition timing and some other sensors. It has been a very important circuit board that, in most cases, has become a major component of the main board instead of having two separate boards.
Major signs the ignition board will soon need to be replaced
- Every other device throughout the system is inspected and seems to be okay
- Initial communication from the home thermostat does not show up at the Carrier control board
- The main ignition cycle is unable to start when it receives a proper signal
