Carrier KFCEH2201F30 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a switch in the air handler that decides if and when the air is actually warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. Limit switches are built because if the warmed air is too cool the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
How do you know when your critical limit switch really needs to be replaced?
- The HVAC system starts to act differently more often than not
- Your Carrier system will not start or continue to run as it should
