Carrier P3 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch contains a sensor located in the furnace that can determine if and when the air is warm enough that it can be circulated throughout the house. Limit switches exist due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then the house will never get warm enough.
What red flags are there that my main limit switch has to be replaced?
- The system is starting to act weird on a regular basis
- The heating and cooling system will not even start nor will it stay running like it ought to
