Carrier PB Draft Inducer
A draft inducer is one of numerous personal safety devices on your furnace. Some companies call it a draft inducer blower, as it does provide appropriate draft of air for a cleaner and much safer gas combustion.The furnace vent motor was designed in order to move air and excess gas out of the furnace.
Major warnings of a faulty vent fan
- Vent motor does not turn on during the launch of the ignition sequence
- Your blower motor does not get up to full speed
- Electricity is supplied to the draft inducing motor but the motor still does nothing
