The blower wheel is a finned-type wheel that is used as to provide forced air through a home. Once in a while it is also called a squirrel cage because of the noticeable likeness to that of a pet hamster wheel. No matter what you call it, it is a necessary contraption of an air handling system that calls for a good amount of airflow.
