Carrier RHR Blower Wheel
The main blower wheel is finned and is used to generate airflow throughout all the ductwork of a home. Some people call it a squirrel cage due to the slight likeness of a very large wheel a hamster would run on. Whatever you decide to call it, it is still a very necessary device that is needed for proper air pressure within the ductwork.
Important hints that your blower wheel is in dire straights
- You observe quite a bit less air flow in the house
- If a part of the cage has been bent and looks unbalanced when it spins
