Carrier RHR Control Board
Your system definitely will not function unless this board is in connected and operational. The control board is designed to regulate the gas valve, the igniter, all the sensors as well as the blower all together. The proper control board must be compatible with both the brand and specific model of furnace or air handler you have. You must be careful while selecting a replacement due to differences in systems.
Key signs of an ineffective control board
- There seems to be a flashing error code instantly appearing on the circuit board
- AC unit or heating unit is not able to go whatsoever
- Power to the circuit board has to be reset all the time for the furnace or AC to kick on
