Carrier RHR Draft Inducer
The main furnace vent motor was invented for the furnace in order to redistribute air and gases out of the furnace. A vent blower is only one of many protection features within your furnace.Sometimes stated as a draft inducer blower, as it gives sufficient draft for a purer and safer combustion.
Some warnings your vent fan will soon need to be replaced
- Electric current is supplied to the draft inducing motor but nothing is happening
- Main draft inducer refuses to run during the initial stage of the ignition sequence
- Main blower never does get the chance to circulate the air
