Carrier RVC Blower Motor
The blower motor in the Carrier RVC is in charge of providing air through the vents in the house. The main blower motor is an important piece of hardware as it pertains to the HVAC system and performs an important part in distributing the heated or cooled air.
Indications the main blower motor is on its last leg and will have to be replaced shortly
- When the start sequence is initiated a circuit blows, putting a stop to the startup sequence because the blower motor shorted everything out.
- Your blower has trouble distributing the right amount of volume of air for the house.
- The blower that blows air throughout the home generates a grinding sound when the blower is starting its cycle or while the system is currently running.
- The blowing of air through the vents has difficulty starting and then ends suddenly before the optimum temperature has been reached.
