The control board is designed to regulate everything including the gas valve, the ignition igniter, the flame sensor as well as the blower all in one unit. The control board picked will need to pair with the part number from both the brand and specific model of the system you have installed. You must be sure while searching to pick up a replacement control board due to so many small differences in HVAC systems.
