Carrier RVC Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch in the heat exchanger that makes the determination when the heated air is warmed to a point to activate the main blower. The main reason limit switches are made is because if the air is not warm enough then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
Key indicators that my main limit switch is crapping out?
- The Carrier system is beginning to act differently more often than not
- Your Carrier system refuses to kick in nor will it stay running even though max temp has not been reached
