Carrier RVR Blower Wheel
A blower wheel is finned and is traditionally used to produce an airflow throughout an entire home. It can also be called a squirrel cage due to the partial resemblance of a very large wheel a hamster would run on. Regardless of what you call it, it is still a crucial device of a heating and cooling system that needs proper airflow.
What are the indications that my blower wheel most likely needs replacing?

- A clanking sound can be heard as the system ramps up
- If any of the fins has been wrecked and it does not spin correctly
