Carrier RVR Transformer
A basic electrical transformer is inside many electronic products which includes your forced air system and it converts electricity and switches it to a different voltage range. Heating and cooling transformers can all be different so make sure you meet the electrical needs. When any transformer needs to be replaced, be sure to purchase a transformer that is correctly rated for the exact voltage that is desired.
Clues of a weak converting transformer
- No power is measured from the output of the system transformer while using a voltmeter
- Inaccurate voltage is determined across the system transformer
- The transformer physically appears cracked or could smell like its burning when it has electricity going through it
