Carrier RVS Limit Switch
The limit switch contains a sensor located in the furnace that senses, or governs, when the air is warmed to a point for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is because if the air never warms up then the house will never get warm enough.
What symptoms are present when the main limit switch is in need of a replacement?
- Your Carrier system is unable to start or run as it should
- The system is beginning to runs uneven occasionally
