Carrier RVS Transformer
A transformer is used for many products including your HVAC system as it changes a normal current of electricity from one that is higher to a lower voltage. Transformers are all different and they should follow strict volts called for with the original. If you need a replacement, make sure you buy the one that is rated for the exact voltage that will be needed by the system.
How do you know if your transformer has a need to be replaced?
- Not a single volt is measured from the output of the HVAC transformer at all
- Inaccurate voltage is determined stemming from the transformer
- System transformer looks damaged or perhaps smokes when it has electricity going through it
