The main panel of this Comfort Aire unit is usually made of plastic and houses all the controls and the directional vents which is conducive to proper air flow.
Signals of an inadequate front panel
- Front panel cover has screws missing and probably taped together in order to stay on the rest of the unit
- The little air vents that are found in the front cover are missing
