The unit filter is designed to be good at removing small dust molecules and other small elements as it passes through. This helps protect the unit and make it work much more efficient while also cleaning the air breathe in and out everyday. During regular maintenance the air filter must be exchanged or simply cleaned every so often depending on how much you use it.
