Danby DPAC10011 Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor has an important job of keeping the compressor cool, due to the large amount of heat must be dispersed in order to keep things cool. The motor on the compressor fan can be replaced on its own without the blade, this results in an easier installation and reduce costs overall. Please make sure the replacement motor has the same voltage and correct amp current as it is on the current motor.
Indications your fan motor will need to be replaced
- The cooling motor smells burnt or sparks when in use
- The Danby motor tries but fails to turn at all
- A constant crackling noise while the cooling fan starts or stops
