Danby DPAC10011 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch in the heat exchanger that senses, or governs, when the heated air is warm enough to activate the main blower. Limit switches exist because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
Symptoms of a deteriorating limit type switch
- The Danby system is beginning to go through the startup sequence but stops quickly often
- The heating and AC system will not begin or will not stay running even though max temp has not been reached
