Danby DPAC5070 Limit Switch
The limit switch contains a sensor in the heat exchanger that senses, or governs, if and when the air is warmed to a point for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. This is important because if the air is not warm enough then the house will never get warm enough.
General warnings of a declining critical limit switch
- System will not initiate or run longer that five minutes
- The whole system begins to become inconsistent occasionally
