Danby DPAC8KDB Limit Switch
The limit switch is a switch in the heat exchanger that can determine when the heated air is warmed to a point to activate the main blower. This is important due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Clues main limit switch is dying
- The HVAC system starts to erratically occasionally
- System will not even start nor will it stay running even though the desired temperature has not been attained
